Equipped with solar panels, a water purification system and advanced filtration, De Duurzame Saek is designed to minimize its impact on nature. Circular practices and sustainable solutions help reduce the ecological footprint, lower CO₂ emissions, and promote clean water. The experience encourages greater awareness of sustainability, while all products used on board are environmentally friendly and fully biodegradable. In addition, we organize outings for people with fewer financial means, giving everyone the opportunity to experience and enjoy eco-tourism.

We believe that sustainable recreation and meaningful nature experiences should be accessible to all, regardless of income or background.

'We hebben een prachtig, magisch, onvergetelijk verblijf gehad bij Nienke en Peter's prachtige woonboot. We gingen voor de kerstweek en het was een heel gezellig, leuk avontuur, waaronder zwemmen met koud water vanaf de boot, mooie wandelingen, prachtig varen in de huisboot door de natuur, en plezier maken met de kleine boot die is inbegrepen. Ik raad ten zeerste aan om op vakantie te gaan op deze zeer speciale, unieke duurzame huisboot, vooral als je een warm, comfortabel, gezellig, leuk avontuur wilt hebben. Een grote dank aan Nienke en Peter!'
